CCA treated poles
CCA is an acronym for “Copper, Chrome and Arsenic”. The Copper and Chrome compounds in the mixture is the preservative Arsenic guarantees that no timber-eating insects damages the poles you purchased. CCA treated poles are suitable for ground contact and periodic wetting. These poles are ideal for agricultural posts, landscaping, structures, decking and bridges.
Dunnage
Dunnage, stacking and pests are three important aspects of grain storage. Dunnage are wooden beams which are placed over the
ground and below the bags so as to avoid direct content of grains with the floor and for providing aeration.
Rail slippers
A railroad tie or crosstie or railway sleeper is a rectangular support for the rails in railroad tracks. Generally laid perpendicular to the rails, ties transfer loads to the track ballast and subgrade, hold the rails upright and keep them spaced to the correct gauge. Railroad ties are traditionally made of wood.
Mining props
A pit prop or mine prop (British and American usage, respectively) is a length of lumber used to prop up the roofs of tunnels in mines.
Cross arms
Pole that is used in a horizontal or near horizontal position in a structure for the support of power distribution lines, but that is not intended to be used in contact with the ground.
Surveyor poles
Our survey poles are untreated gum droppers. Because an average survey pole is only used once, for a period of 2 – 3 weeks we have made our survey poles untreated for affordability. As an added bonus we have cut these survey poles at an angle so that they are ready to use moments after collection. Our survey poles are available in lengths of 1.5m and 1.8m.
